We look forward to marking the release of Channel Issue 7 with both in-person and online launches. Whether you can join us in Dublin or prefer to tune in online, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Issue 7 is now available for order. Those who can afford to further support our work may consider subscribing to Channel to receive each new issue upon its release, or becoming a patron to also receive access to our digital archive of back issues as well as acknowledgement in print and online.

In-Person Launch at The Library Project

The in-person launch of Channel Issue 7 will take place at The Library Project, Temple Bar, on Friday 28 October, 7.00pm–9.00pm.

The Library Project is an art bookshop, photobook library, gallery and events space run by PhotoIreland. From 29 October to 27 November 2022 it will host HALFTONE Print Fair, an annual exhibit of artworks from fine art printers, illustrators, designers, photographers and other creatives around Ireland. We are lucky enough to have access to the space the night before this year’s fair begins, and look forward to seeing a preview of the work for sale at HALFTONE displayed across the walls.

The evening will feature readings by Issue 7 contributors, along with a musical performance by Alain Servant, and refreshments will be provided. Also featured will be a series of readings by contributors to Channel’s back issues, who will perform their own work alongside selected pieces from Issue 7, celebrating the throughlines and collective conversations that have built up across our first three years of publishing.

No RSVP required; if you’re free on the night please come along and celebrate with us.

Accessibility
Please note that there are no toilets available onsite, and that there is a small step from the footpath up to the venue door. The space is otherwise wheelchair accessible. Please email info@channelmag.org with any other queries or access requirements.

Online Launch via YouTube Premiere

We continue to offer a digital launch for each issue in celebration of the broad community of Channel readers and contributors unable to join us for an in-person event in Dublin.

This issue’s online launch will take place via YouTube Premiere on Thursday 3 November, starting at 7.00pm, and will feature readings from local and international contributors along with photography showcasing the environments that have inspired their work.

The launch video will be viewable below at the time of its release, or open the link in YouTube to chat with other readers and contributors during the event.
